Recently Comcast/Xfinity removed If This Then That integration with the X1 cable box and replaced it with Stringify. At first I was unhappy, then I saw how Stringify actually opens up some new possibilities. In this video I show how to make custom text notifications appear on the X1 box using Stringify, HTTPBot, and Postman.
